One of many witch-related attractions in Salem, the Witch Museum stands out for its creepy set-pieces featuring life-sized historical figures, ambient music, and narration. Exhibits address the hanging of Bridget Bishop and other witches, the influence of "possessed" Native American slave Tituba, and the changing perceptions of witches and witchcraft in contemporary society. The museum resides in a recreated Colonial castle building in the heart of town, on the west side of Salem Common.
