A lovely example of Federal-era architecture, Hamilton Hall features a pillared entryway, old-fashioned windows, and elegant brick chimneys. Largely a rental space, it has hosted debutante balls, political dinners, weddings, and even a visit by Marquis de Lafayette in 1824. It lies on one of the country's most beautiful streets, Chestnut Street, in the downtown area, near Mack Park.
